Minimum Requirements
University degree in Economics, Statistics, Rural Development, Social Sciences or related technical field;
At least five years of professional experience in a relevant field of work, with a background and interest in humanitarian assistance and international development.
Working knowledge of English and Arabic (oral and written) is required.

Technical/Functional Skills
Long-term experience in the development of and visualization of humanitarian response data sets;
Knowledge of humanitarian information management functions and coordination mechanisms; experience monitoring projects and collecting relevant data an asset;
Experience related to development and/or maintenance of Management Information Systems, data processing, analysis and reporting.
Relevant professional experience preferably in programme, analysis, reporting in humanitarian/ development work
Good analytical skills with the ability to analyse and interpret information and draw out the key messages
Strong written communication skills, demonstrated experience with multi-cultural teams
Relevant IT skills including advanced knowledge of excel (GIS, vLookup, Power Query, Conditional Formatting, Advanced Charting, Pivot Tables, and Macros), experience combining excel with other applications like SQL Server and Power BI, and advanced knowledge of Power BI.
Capacity to take initiative, and suggest modifications in the process
Ability to plan, organize, implement and report
Good communication, writing and presentation skills in English and Arabic.
Knowledge of FAO’s core mandated areas an advantage.
